Since there is no central clearing / exchange floor for spot fx trading, there is no volume info regarding the total amount/volume changed hands . Besides that, I am also concerned on the liquidity of the futures market during Asian hours, as the lack of activities during Asian hours might cause automated strategy using hourlies timeframe ...

You can try Martin Pring's books and John Murphy's "Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets" if you want some basic / introduction stuffs. Trader Vic is quite interesting too if you wanted to know more.
