Re: Daily Plus
“The lines keep moving off degrees in MT4 TL tool so I found it useless and I don't get how MO, Jal and others play with the angles with the TL tool, it was quite frustrating.” Hey Pablo, I remember MO posting that after you set the line with a ‘TrendByAngle’ you replace it with the a regular ’Trend...

Hey, hey, hey!!! Don't be doing that just as I'm settling in to get back on the horse!
Might take a couple of days but I'm on the way.
We need to keep quality product going - there's barely enough to butter toast out there.
Glad to hear you’re feeling better LeM.
Hope you feel 100% soon!

On the 4hr chart, yes. Two ‘pointy places’/extremes away.

Re: forexjpn's trade journal
How large are your stop losses? I put my stop two pivot points out (you can see this on the charts I just posted). On EJ usually approx. 50~100pips, but as Alias pointed out I do adjust lot size to my risk %. I guess I’m comparing my SL to Dragon’s .... he always used to say his SL’s were rarely mo...

Thanks for the comment Alias.
Yeah, not able to trade intraday quite yet.... but hopefully soon, then I can maybe drop to M15
But aside from the monster SL’s, H4 works really well for me.

I’m going to take the ZEN route on my reply and just say, we all trade differently.

Re: forexjpn's trade journal
Wow, it’s been about 3years since I posted on my thread.... I’ve abandoned my dream of trading D1. Been trading H4 as it gives me the best balance between trading opportunities and family time. Here are a few trades from last week. Although I always intend to trade to my target, I usually get in and...

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
Just thinking about the previous midpoint suggestion. A candle needs to close lower(or higher) to show a previous midpoint. For the 1hr example, So technically if price closes lower, we are automatically trading with this bias. I can't see the benefit yet, if you are trying to follow the trend. The...

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
Also, regarding entry, if you want higher percentage wins, I’d look at: 1. MA angle (steeper is better) 2. earlier is better (of course) 3. shorter candles on the reversal are better I’ll post a chart later, but I think the explanation above is easy to see when you look at a chart. FYI: not sure thi...
