Société Générale Onboards Tom Gillie to Bolster FX Team

French bank Société Générale has just appointed Tom Gillie as Head of FX Options and FX Spot Trading. He will be based out of London and joins the company at a time of extended expansion of the French bank’s foreign exchange team.

Gillie joins after Société Générale has already hired several key sales and trading staff recently. Back in August, the French bank got Ben Rosswick and Julio Castro Zuazo from Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
