3-2-1 buzzard mo style questions

Postby LegendofZline » Tue Apr 12, 2016 2:40 pm

MO and tro,

But mostly MO

You have posted the modified buzzard 3-2-1 and 1-2-3

Smaller smaller smaller candle pattern. Look for break or reverse
Bigger bigger bigger candle pattern. Look for break or reverse.

This price action makes alot of sense to me and it is easy to see.

My question once you see this close

What are the entry method i would look for? Do you go to lower tf and trade 321 and 123. Anticipating a breakout or reversal?

And i would think tp is when you have enough... Let me know your thoughts.

Sincerely 8 yrs in this forum with nothing to show guy...

Thanks

The idea is that price will either slow down or accelerate towards an area of S/R.

So how do you trade it? Think about it, it is moving towards a line so we are going to use a line.

My personal preference is to use the midpoint of the current candle (H1+) or the extreme that was broken by the current candle as a line to trade away from on a small chart (M10+, again, is a personal preference).

It is not until you see these things for yourself that my words, TRO's words really, will be of any help to you.

Position sizing and money management, that is where you find success.

Does this make sense to anyone? Anybody out there there there (echo)

I see a 1hr momentum bar creating a zline... My thought is ok im going to target these profits....

What Do I do? I look up the 4hr to make sure we arent having a 1hr going for larger 4hr zline...

The coast is clear....

So now I look for an entry

I wait for a 15min body in direction of profit.....

Enter when this 15min body is wicked.... tp profit at the original 1hr Zline above...

Does That Make Any Sense on how people are trading zlines?

I never meant for it to become an indicator or a system.

If you can see how one might lose then you can see how you might win; use your "average experience" to place and manage trades.

Many people find success just "trading what they see" and then they get uncomfortable, because they cannot fully explain their actions, and start creating a long list of rules which leads to the feeling of not knowing what they are doing; when you were young you knew how to think, then someone told you how to think and suddenly you didn't know how to do it yourself.

Position sizing and money management? Can we go into this for a sec....
This is what I believe I am really missing with this whole thing as you already pointed out.

Money management I get. I think.... It goes like this
Don't put all you eggs in one basket...
Set to stop loss to lose 1 egg
set to take profit at 5 eggs
is this correct? So in the end you will lose trades but your risk is so low your wins will evaporate them with the bigger wins... That is if you win 1 or more trade out of 5 trades consistently.

Position Sizing " I am totally in the dark with this one"
Is there any general simple way to explain this?

Position sizing is "how fast" where as money management is "how much".
