I'll watch the vid, anything trading is interesting to me. ;)

I remember this vid.
I was actually posting GU shorts off top bbands in the II skype group the same time they were trying to get into a long term trades.
I did not know at the time what they were doing because I hadn't been attending "class" for a year or two.

I don't think some of the members believed I could enter with such accuracy as what I was doing.

Moral of the story:
Having pinpoint entries and only taking 20-50 pips pales in comparison to nailing a big swing.
Bummer they hedged instead of waiting for the next best setup.

Who cares about some loser school. How did your week go. How many wins and loses. How many trades did you misd. What notes did you take. What can u do better next week. Your doing good pro. Your slowly making good progress.

Don't knock pinpoint entries and winning a quick 50 pips. You gotta walk before u run

How is the lifting going pro. Im doing 3 full body workouts a week just to get my strength and size back as quick as possible while dropping bodyfat. Yesterday was insane. 2 hours. Started with reverse band squats worked up to a triple. Then paused squats for 2 sets of triples. Then inclined press, added 10pds and 2 reps from last time. Reverse grip pulldowns added 20pds. Low pull rows. Kroc rows witb no straps. Straight barbell curls. Lateral raises. Close grip banded 2 board bench press. Then paused leg press with deadlift stance. And finished it off with a 50 rep leg press rest paused style.

If any one has done high rep leg work knows what hell this can be. Even worse is when done at the end of the workout when your blood sugar is low. Needless to say i loss my lunch after this set. I love when the cardio bunnies and trainers stay at me, like I am crazy.

Full body workouts and high rep leg training is DEADLY.
Cuddos'.

My training has been hit and miss since the failure of the 1000 day challenge.
Lots of "emergency" repairs/vacations took me off track.
Bout to get back on it right now though.

5 mo. ago I joined The Y, in anticipation of a new one that is opening 1.5 miles from our house.
I'm wanting all the kids to get involved with no excuses....Teen nights every friday, Kids programs, sports of their choice,
2 pools, indoor track, free weights, machines, blah blah.
It will be pretty neat to get in some true Bodybuilding type workouts.
Opens mid. April.

Currently, and for the last 25yrs I've been working out in my home gym.
It's grown to be basically a mini crossfit facility.
I had a platform setup in my living room with chinup bar, rings, and all about 10yrs ago after my 3rd marriage.

I've got Rings, Chin bars, 2 oly platforms, SQ racks, KB's, Airdyne, etc.
Everything except a concept 2 rower.

Target must be 3:1 or BETTER trading from 2+ Daily chart extremes
(MN/Wk S-R, pointy places)

Start @3% Initial risk. I never lose more than 1/3 (1%) in any attempt to hit my target which gives me 3 cracks at a "win".

100 space/300 pip target for example:

1k acct so lot size starts @ .30 (100 space)

1st target hit makes $90

By re-investing profits I up lot size to
$1.20 a pip.

Keep in mind, I am still risking ONLY 3% of "my" acct on the 2nd trade of the sequence. Very important.

2nd target hit makes $360 (with $1k acct base)

!Re-investing!
profits I move lot size up to...?..?.... OOPS. It says $4.80 a pip BUT trading exotics with a margin requirement of say $350 per $1 pip holds Me to $2.90 per pip max with 100 pips space.

Now, I am in a "win" situation after 2 steps and NONE of my $30 is now at risk. Even if I "lost" 3 in a row (attempts to get in at an extreme)
I WOULD STILL HAVE MY ORIGINAL $30 RISKED +$290 xtra IN MY ACCT.

But.

3rd target is hit @$2.90 a pip.
CHA CHING $870.00
Total now on risk side of ledger.

$90, $360, $870 OR
$1,320

Move over bacon.

New acct balance is $2,320.00!!!

That is a 130% Increase compared to 3% lost if I lose a "trade"

This actually seems feasible with those lot sizes.
Especially if it takes up to 9 steps instead of 3.

Doing the above with $100 and starting with 3 cents would be in my mind,
SUCCESS.

Who originally posted this?

So if only 1% is allowed to be lost on a trade I am assuming your hard stop is 33 pips? What if your first trade is a loser, then you only risk 2% on the next trade? Then 1% on the 3? Lets assume 1st trade is a winner, it says then on 2nd trade your still only risking your original 3%.

But pips are now worth 1.20 compared to .30. So are you risking the original 3% plus opm or only just the original 3%. So if you never lose more then 1% on a trade what is that now calculated from.

But putting that all aside in a basic explanation, your attempting to win 300 pips 3 times in a row with a sl of 33 pips, correct?

I really hope you have figured out how to identify the longer term trend and how to trade DWM charts, cuz aiming for 300 pips isnt going to happen by luck. Plus you can only trade very limited hours correct? What if you miss your entry while sleeping and the market moves a 100 pips from where you should have entered from.
