ALL YOU NEED TO TRADE IS A HORIZONTAL LINE

TRADING IS SIMPLE.

There is an entire industry built around making you think it is complicated.

All you need is a HORIZONTAL LINE on your chart to be a profitable trader.

I bet you doubt me, don't you?

Go long when the price moves UP to a price ends in 00, 25, 50 or 75.

Go short when the price moves DOWN to a price ends in 00, 25, 50 or 75.

IT IS THAT SIMPLE!!

Look at the chart and see how many pips you can make when you trade with the H1 candle color.

Pick ANY candle on the H1 chart.

1) identify the color.

2) let the candle close

3) if the next candle is NOT the same color then:

if the current candle is GREEN go LONG at the FIRST line it approaches

if the current candle is RED go SHORT at the FIRST line it approaches

When to exit? Usually, when price stalls.

Stop loss? If price crosses the previous candle's midpoint.

Does that help?
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

So simple.

If H1 candle closes green then on next red candle go SHORT at the line.

If H1 candle closes red then on next green candle go LONG at the line.

Be patient. Don't rush the trade.

Don't be greedy and you can rack up the pips.

I had a great idea. This version of the indicator tells you (audible) how many pips you are away from the next psych line. You don't even have to have your eyes open! It's better than a parking assistant. It's like landing a big airliner! Put the .wav files into the "sounds" folder.

Also added the "previous bar" rule (which I forgot first).

EDIT: NEWEST VERSION SHOULD WORK WITH 3/5 DIGIT BROKERS.

For anyone trying this, I noticed something last night. If you are using Sweetspotsgold the sublevel setting of 25 works fine for a 4 digit broker like Alpari but I am using MBTrading. If you are using MBTrading or any other 5 digit broker, then you need to increase the sublevels setting to 250.

Question for you TRO

When playing this approach, why not just use a standard 25 pip SL? and then reverse when you get stopped out at the next psych level. I suspect that getting caught for full stops on both ends of the trade is probably rather rare (as I may be doing right now)

Am experimenting with this right now on the EuroYen right now

Razor:

Load the risk/reward indicator and plug in those numbers. Post the chart and tell me what you see.

Today was a TEST as I was only $7 from having the Thankyou fund money.....
Result-------FAILED!
+24.6
Account up 6.05%

I concentrated all night on what I would do if I had a losing trade.
The market went CRAZY and whipped 50 pips in 3 sec.
Stopped out/slipped stop.
I decided to grab some pips back.....errrrrrrrrr
I was down 40 pips total TWICE.
Hmmmmmmmm.

Last rule of thumb: check for news every hr BEFORE Trading.

Look at this.
