Something to backtest to see how often this would occur as price can just truck on through as well.

Low to open is a 'bounce', high to close is another 'bounce';

where can you draw a line where you cannot make something out of anything? I can invent a reason behind a reaction to any line a draw.

You will always find a reaction to randomly plotted lines, it doesn't mean anything.

What matters is that price went somewhere, and that price came from somewhere.

What matters is your entry/exit strategy, what you are going to do about what you see.

In my head, short term I can convince myself price can revisit due to imagining a bank buying currency for a customer (Toyota paying their staff in the US for instance )at a certain price which they might not be able to fill all at once so they wait for price to get back to their level (retests)and then buy again and repeat until the order is finished.
Those orders must impact price a bit (demand pressures) but separate to fundamental pressures.
Then there is manipulation which I think is around news time, I don't know who they are, I try and avoid times when they may be playing with their toys.

Kreslik is a quiet place; when one person leaves that's like 20% of the posts

More like 80% with Pro. lol
There was a few talks with Michal in the K2 thread about ideas like syncing posts back from Discord such as chart posts etc and leaving the idle chat up there . When people are online at the same time, just looking now it was 60 posts in an hour earlier back and forth, too much to sync back here probably (technically possible but thinking of cost and quality) but there are some good snippets in amongst it.

Thats why I think discord is good; quick chats and no cluttering of the forum. This way the website can/will have more quality posts so eventually a lot of site visitors will benefit. There is a danger however, that people will stop posting on the website.
I like to post on the website because I use it as a sort of journal for myself and hope someone will also benefit from it. So I will continue posting here.

And you IgazI?
Heard you don't want to come on the discord? Is that true?

I might modify those Discord extraction scripts this week to extract the chart posts and throw them on here as a few gems are on the Discord now that arn't on here, especially those up/down candles Alias is playing with.

Well, the challenge is how to do that. The charts are valuable but without the chats (context) less clear.
And the chats are just....too much.

A solution could be to "re-ignite" interesting chats on the board manually. I know I like the up/down candles, so I can post some of my own on the board and start the discussion again. Then it's up to the group to support it or not.

Another idea could be to limit the number of discord channels/folders on the server. Now, there are so many different channels/folders and chats that occur in different folders at the same time. This will destroy the context if you try to export them.

The solution lies in defining the use case of the discord vs the board first. Now it's not that clear.

You heard correctly.
