The Ultimate Indicator

Postby prochargedmopar » Fri Mar 20, 2009 4:46 am

TRO,
I have found a way to clean up my charts but would like your help.

It's called the
"TRO_DYN_Semafor_SR" (first choice)
or TRO_DYN_Semafor_Pivots
or TRO_3clipz_Pro_dots, <<<LOL

Here's why.

When trying to use your dyn fibs sr basic edition I would try to go long on a breakout and have price turn against me.
When trying to go short from the new resistance dots I'd have price sail back into orbit.

I feel this is because I was NOT trading with/away from major pivot points.
Your new Dyn BZ and Fibs_Trail are good but they are basicallly the same thing as the old stuff but with a trigger line added.
I would have to use the Semafor's with those or I'd be back to where I started.

Would you be able to combine the two indicators?
Instead of having big dots and little dots just use a color code.
Brown =1's
Purple=2's and
Yellow =3's.

With 3 indicators total this would allow me to trade a 15m chart ONLY. And keep it CLEAN.
candle_m_candle_m tro modified
H1 MP SEMAFOR meter showing my 5 pairs 60m timeframe
and the new "ultimate indicator" stated above.

Think about it.
You'd never have to open a h1 chart. MP meter would tell you when you've got 1,2, or 3 on the H1's and if it was new high or low.

Candles_m and the 15m chart would allow you to combine pattern information to use "The Mighty Zone". This would provide the setups for double size engulfing patterns so that you could take the reversals after the push is exhausted on the yellow dots (#3 sema's).

"TRO dyn semafor SR" would give you the ability to see if your pushing Through a pivot or retracing back toward it for another push. You know how the dots just move up/down on each candle with the dyn fibs sr. You'd be able to look back and see where the sema dot actually started to paint.

What do you think?
Clean chart and All the info you'd need to use 3clipz3, MightyOne, and your NLA meter all rolled into one. May even want to add an option to be able to turn on/off the go long and go short trigger dots that are in your TRAIL indi.
I would prefer not to have them as it starts looking kinda crazy with all those dots.
Oh yeah, SP_openline could be added to do BZ trades at the begining of the hr or just use the Candle_m starting point. I prefer the price box to make my 4 pip calculation.......

Guess that would be 4 indi's total.
Thanks for the great Trading/Chat room.
Procharged

This chart could be cleaned up extensively but really this looks like a whiteboard compared to some of my previous setups.

Why not?

I like the idea of combining several indicator's results on the bottom
(you may even have an option to select - which ones to show/hide)
and then - "Ultimate Indicator" would give a signal, based on combination
of the selected indicators.

For me, dots are better to be reds and greens, if all are greens - Ultimate indicator also signaling Green - and you go long.

You don't need to think, and it conforms to main motto "Keep it simple"

What you need to do is learn how to use TRO SAK MULTIPAIRS.

It will display the results of 3 indicators on all of the time periods.

But not all external indicators will work with TRO SAK MULTIPAIRS or my external indicator dashboard because there are not standard outputs.

Plus trader A may want indicator 1, 2, 3 and trader B may want 2, 4, 6 and trader C may want 1, 4 and 5. Who gets to decide which combo gets coded?

But if all the pieces are available, then each trader gets to use what they want.

TRO, you missed my idea.
In Ultimate combo indicator one could have option to include
up to 5 indicators (for example). All their output must conform to
green-red dots (for simlicity).
Ultimate indicator has among its input parameters following:
open/hide indicator # 1, Name of Indicator # 1
open/hide indicator # 2, Name of Indicator # 2
...
open/hide indicator # 5, Name of Indicator # 5

By changing these parameters one could have an option to open or hide
indicator 1, indicators 1 and 2, or indicators 1 and 3 and 5, or any other possible combination, etc.

Then - main Ultimate indicator will have its own green-red dot,
which will signal (on basis of sub-indicators included) by red-green dot as well - what to do.

In fact, Ultimate indicator - is not an indicator on itself, it is a collection
of sub-indicators, but it pretty flexible - it could become just
one sub-indicator (if only one sub-indicator is selected), or huge
combo of 5 indicators (which will give green, only if all 5 sub-indicators are green).

More complex rules could be established between different sub-indicators
later. For example, "Never Lose Again" strategy (with dynamic fibs)
- could be easily presented as one set of Ultimate indicator,
Dragon Tunnel NLA indicator - is in fact such Ultimate indicator ) only without option to switch on/off its components).

Have you seen my FREE multimeters?

All you have to do is load the ones you want and you can see if they are all red/green on all chart periods.

I did saw a few ones, but I didn't realize, that I could create more of them
and combine them in any quantity I need. I see now.
