I understand his point about marketers but trading psychology is real.

Trading is a performance endeavor. Psychology is a factor in any performance endeavor. Look at sports for proof.

Think about it this way, if your analysis is only 33% accurate but your trading psychology is at 100%, you will exit the losses sooner and ride the gains longer. So if your RR is 3 to 1 and you win one trade and lose two trades, you are 1 unit ahead.

On the other hand, if your analysis is 90% accurate but your trading psychology allows you to TILT, you can lose all your gains in one loss.
