IG Appoints Matthew Macklin as Head of UK

Matthew Macklin, a foreign exchange (forex) professional has returned to IG, a UK-based online brokerage, to be the firm’s Head of UK. According to information made public on his LinkedIn profile, he has begun his new role this October.

Back in August, Finance Magnates reported that Macklin had stepped down as Head of Europe fromCMC Markets in a regulatory filing, which the broker confirmed at the time. However, no details were given about where he would be heading to next or why he left.
