CME Reports Uptick in MoM Trading Volumes for August

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME) released trading volume figures for August of 2018 this Wednesday. According to the exchange operator’s report, trading volumes increased significantly on July and remained approximately the same from a year-on-year perspective.

Wednesday’s report indicates that total average daily trading volume for August of 2018 was 15.9 million contracts. That was a 17 percent increase on July’s 13.5 million contracts.
