Sorry, I don't know if I understood right
I wanted to change the start time to watch for a D1 close in the afternoon, i.e., and not in the night.

I'm not getting if you are telling me to watch for closes on smaller periods..

I think that you would be better off just looking for an H4 price level than going through the trouble of changing the start time of your daily chart.

Only Mira knows what Mira should do, I can only tell you what I would do.

Now I'm not interested in buying at the current price, that daily momo is my occasion to get it at a lower level.

Orange line is where price stopped (1) at a momo 50% (2).

Red lines are a confluence of Zs, BO/BI, Doji Zone (see the zone around lines) and momentum.

At the tops there is a BO/BI (current price), so it could be a scalp short, at the bottoms there isn't a "fresh" level aka "unused" BO/BI.

But at the midpoint of the daily momo there is another imaginary red line (the Magenta one) with the most recent BO/BI.. still not used.

I knew that it was risky but I was planning to buy lower, around 0.8888.. obviously I was wrong.
The midpoint for me wasn't the orange line but the oval in the middle

I am usually only looking back 30 bars behind the active candle down to a minimum of 30 hours.
