700hp is all this 70's model stock block can handle.
After this project I'll build one of my big blocks and shoot for 1k whp.

I really don't want to kill myself or have a leg blown off from shrapnel. Building these things is where all the funs at. At least for me.
Watching hundreds of videos on porting heads not because I want to be a champion head porter but because I enjoy doing it for myself.

BTW,

This guy made 1000+ whp with junk yard Engine, trans, and rear axle.

LS is a much better base to start from though.

Next up he is going old school budget 4.8l 500+hp and show every step of the build.
