Spanish Exchange BME Posts Mixed Results in March 2017 Volumes

Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME), the operator of all stock markets and financial systems in Spain, has reported its trading volumes for the month ending March 31, 2017, which showed a mixed performance across key areas, including ETF turnover that was lower by double digits year-on-year.

Delving into the figures, the Spanish Stock Exchange revealed that equity trading volume pointed higher last month, coming in at €58.2 billion ($62.08 billion), up 28.6 percent compared to February 2017’s figures.
