Danish multi-asset brokerage Saxo Bank has posted an all-time record-high in trading volumes last month. February saw the company’s clients netting $612.1 billion across multiple asset classes.

After a robust start to the new year, the company’s performance in the second month was boosted by a massive spike in volatility. Apparently, traders flocked before their screens not only to trade FX, but also equities and fixed income. Trading volumes were higher by 19 percent month-on-month and by 93 percent year-on-year.
