Sabet Elias Joins BNY Mellon as Chief Technology Officer

BNY Mellon (BNY) has been on something of a hiring spree in recent months, with numerous changes made to its foreign exchange division. Now it’s the technology department’s time for a shake-up with the American bank announcing this Monday that Sabet Elias has been appointed Chief Technology Officer.

Based in New York, Elias has, according to BNY’s statement, already started work. His role is a new one and will see him helping BNY set its technological agenda and building new platforms.
