Calvin Ayre, a fugitive Canadian entrepreneur who allegedly made his fortune from the illegal online gambling business, is reportedly backing the discredited self-proclaimed inventor of Bitcoin, Craig Wright, in his efforts to dominate cryptocurerncy and blockchain development via patents.

Ayre is financing Wright, who has been filling over seventy blockchain-related patent applications in the UK – more than all other people and firms in the world combined.
