Hong Kong’s SFC Appoints Edward Cheng Wai-Sun as Non-Exec Director

Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), the country’s paramount securities regulator, has seen its latest appointment, adding Edward Cheng Wai-Sun as its newest non-Executive Director, who will begin his term on January 1, 2017, according to an SFC filing.

Mr. Cheng Wai-Sun is currently the acting Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive of Wing Tai Properties Limited, a Hong Kong based property developer and operator of hospitality services and owner of several tailoring factories – he will begin his two-year term this January.
