CFTC Charges New Jersey Resident with $400,000 Forex Fraud Scheme

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced Thursday that it has filed charges against a New Jersey-based commodity pool operator for allegedly fraudulently soliciting more than
$400,000 from investors to trade in foreign currency.

According to the complaint, Michael S. Wright and his company, Global FX Club, fraudulently solicited the money from several unsuspecting investors by guaranteeing pool participants a monthly return on their investment based on profits purportedly earned from forex trading.
