BTIG Continues Hiring Spree as Simon Martin Joins London Equities Team

Despite rapidly strengthening its NY-based operations in H1 2017, BTIG has now shifted its focus to its London operations. Simon Martin has joined BTIG as the newest Managing Director to its Institutional Equities team in London, according to a recent Reuters report.

The London Summit 2017 is coming, get involved!

The global financial services firm has been making a plethora of hires already this year, namely in regards to its fixed income and equities trading desks. While these appointments have been relegated to the US, Mr. Martin’s hire represents BTIG’s first UK hire in 2017.
