Yes - but it's dependent on the version of Seer.

Assuming that the order was filled at some point between the placement of the order and the next bar, your position would remain unprotected. Clear enough it is, but I still can't see any difference between your concept and a commonplace concept used to write the strategy logic in say Tradestation EasyLanguage.
