I have to say that so far I see little logic, and less documentation, in the object model the way that it is exposed by the (ex-delphi) interfaces. It is difficult to be clear about what is being instantiated and when by the originating application. On that basis the thing to do is to place a c# eve...

Creating the C# DLL Using Visual Studio (or other C# editor) create a new project of type class library. Set the project options so that it will output a dll into a named directory (this is the dll directory you referred to in Creating the wrapper above). Add a project reference (Project / Add Refer...

c# With Neoticker Basics
I thought this thread might be useful for others (like me) who are working their way through Neoticker, but prefer to use c# and IDL as a development combination from the very beginning. My reasons for bypassing (as far as possible) Scripts, BackTestEZ (or whatever) and jumping straight to c# are (1...

Well here I am with full neoticker, rain on the mountain where there should usually be sunshine or snow.. more real time feeds than you could shake a stick at... The c# bit is a relief for me (I have worked with c# and .net since the first privileged alpha releases), I have loads of people to call o...

Either here (or elsewhere - I forget) I have read one or two posts attacking the stability of neoticker and suggesting that it is prone to crash. Can anybody shed any light on this? Is / Was crashing a problem and is there anything one can do to prevent it? I have been testing smartquant extensively...

I like the look of Smartquant (or openQuant at least) - in so far as it is a development environment. But I have a hunch that it is the openness of neoticker which will win hands down. In the meantime - how does neoticker match up against radarscreen for signalling possible setups? Can you use multi...
