Alright, they were roughly 10 pips by coincidence in this case. I have seen how you do it with the Deadhorse where you seem to use a multiple of R for your target. Haven't quite seen how to get it down to 2-6 pips on GU though, interesting!

My bad you were asking about GU. Anyways I have an EU pic with a smallish SL
I looked at the M1 chart for some clues

Short at the pinbar?

Yes

Had a bigger target in mind, but I saw I had missed a level on the left (See chart, orange line is entry)

I still chicken out of trades too often. Any advice on this one?

Demo trade 100 times. If you get out exactly on your intended target 95% of the time then repeat the same process with live account, tiny balance. Work your way up until you feel confident. The thing with fear is you either ignore it and push forward or face it and eliminate it. You may do well on the demo and small accounts but on your main account it might relapse. If this happen, don't panic. You can either go back to demo account or to small account or re-challenge the fear on your next trade. I wish there is a pill for this but there's none.

I don't know if you've watched it coz I put it on Alias' thread but I'm gonna post the link again just to remind you (and you remind yourself later).

The first step is ALWAYS the hardest, but it gets easier as you practice more.

Thank you Don. Watched the first part, of for a run now and maybe watch the second part later. Very good stuff :)

Oke lets try this then, this chart should be better 24KB vs 200 KB! Can you folks read it ok?

Short GU down to a Zline (fine tuned on 1m) +7.8

The stop was still 5.8+2 for spread so 7.8 as well.

Orange entry, blue target.

I see what you mean by tight stops..

Short on a 1m chart for fine-tuning. Orange entry, blue target. +8.5

Wow 9 trades 8 wins today. Being slightly hungover seems to help somehow ;)

Another +15 on EA.

Entered on the 5m with a Zline entry (not Deadhorse, despite the chart). Then moved my stop as soon as there was a similar signal on the 1m.
Probably could have entered the trade on the 1m to begin with I recon?

I will :)

It is starting to seem like a "Dragon" trade to me. A HTF bias > A Zline/Area of interest on a medium timeframe > Enter on smaller timeframe.
Intuitively simple, but actually difficult to put in to words.

Just seen that GU hit my lower target. That will be the next step, to stay in for those longer runs.
