I,m on vacation and recieved a PM which troubled me , so thought I would

post the answer here .

Q : " ..your trades appear to be " cherry picked " are you posting losers also ? "

A : Of course , I have losing trades now and then . The reason that I post

is not to show my meager skills , but to try to show that the 1-2-3 is a

profitable method . If you have doubts search for them on any chart , that should be proof enough .

Q : " Are you looking at any other tf charts or indy's that aren't on your

posted charts ?
A : No , the chart that I post is all I use . I have been showing a few diffent

ways to determine trend , but any of them will do the job . I always come back to macd ,as my favorite.
Q; can you show the steps that you use to pick a trade ?

A : Sure , very simple

1. I wait until I see a #1 point ( semafor )

2. A #2 should soon follow , as a retrace . If it passes the original #1 , the process starts again , and we wait for a new #1 to form .

3. If it does'nt pass #1 , it is a #3 ,

4. Now I am looking @ the macd , it should be crossing the zero line , or just about to .

5. If price breaks the #2 point AND the macd has crossed in the same direction ,.. That is an entry .

For targets I use fib projections ( shown elsewhere in this thread ) or just exit at a stall.

I hope this helps clear some things up . It's a simple way to trade , is profitable for me . Todays trade has just hit the 1st target .

Take Care :smt023

enjoy your vacation DC! n thanks for helping us all :) me very much.

i figured out going through your pages all over again that it is like a coiled energy.

at the right 1-2-3 it will usually have the 30 simple MA close to price. like a calm before the storm.

referencing how you see things against actual market screen time watching how it bounces around helped me alot.

im still clocking screen time to see better.

to the pm that troubled DC just keep reading through the thread.
and there's no 100% in trading. the stop i usually put behind the 3 by a bit.
took me 4 months to appreciate the work here after coming one big round.
DC's a real honest trader sharing real valuable information.

and he lives off his trading. do you?

seeing divergence , i went short as macd dipped negative ..

i covered when price retraced and macd became positive

a 1-2-3 continuation formed , and i entered a little later on the hook ..

hope this helps someone ..really finished now ...

be back in a few months .... :smt023
