No, I use renko on the smaller time frame for entry --- 123.

And I do keep my eyes on momo and the 15 min charts too for confirmation.

Please, would be possible to someone post or send the file for me.

Back home for a few days and did some scalping with the cci

5 renko chart , and 5 pip targets worked well..

It doesn't matter much what you use to determine direction , macd , cci , ma

they will all work ..

As long as you enter @ a hook you should catch some pips , but don't be

greedy .

There will ALWAYS be another hook .

Leaving again soon for the holidays ....

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday ...........

I've been preparing for the coming year by studying some candlestick methods ..

These charts are a mixture of James16, Austin Passamonte ,Tro's Rat , Joe Ross and the Z-line masters here .

All of whom have Decades of experience ..

I won't attempt to explain the different methods ( you can google them if interested )..

In the end we all trade s/r don't we ?

Have a safe and blessed new year .....

What I try to do is catch breakouts of the opening range . ( the 1st 10 mins . of the london session )

A 1-2-3 setup or a pin bar is usually in place by then .

Try to hold for a fib extension ( 216,377.512 ,) or a visible level of s/r .

Well, that ends my year , didn't break any records , but paid the bills and left a little to spoil the grandkids ..lol....

See Ya next Year

Update : 1-2-3 reversal , from the pin bar , off the 377 fib , back into opening range .....

Classic.............

Looking back I've realized that my best trades happened while posting "live " here .

Perhaps being in the "fishbowl" gave greater focus .

I'm going back to Boot Camp ...Back to Basics.

1 Pair , 1 chart .

The method is the simplest and possibly the oldest ,known to traders ( a "fore-runner of the RAT " ? )

I'll attempt to post live set-ups , followed by results , with profit or loss ..Full Disclosure..

When I do something stupid ..please feel free to smack me ...

This is boot camp ..and I didn't bring my EGO .....

HaHa 1-2-3 you did go back to school. It does work, actually a lot of entry
methods do "work". The exit is what makes you money.

Very true Alias ..And I have struggled with setting targets ..

This year ( via Austin Passamonte ) I have been using fib extensions ( 377,512,720 ) off the 1st ten min range of the London open .

I find they are very accurate , and help me to hold the trade longer .

Might be worth a look .....Thanks for your input .

Loaded the latest version of RenkoLiveChart v.2.1 and am getting nothing on the chart. Any suggestions - left all settings at default. Thanks
