Hi dchappy,

i am following your trading techniques and was wondering...
can i substitute CCI and LRC for other indicators.
for example; macd for ccci, stoch for cci, rsi for cci ?
bollinger bands for lrc, adx for lrc, price oscillator for lrc ?

As a reversal trader , I am looking for 2 things :

1. An area of exhaustion ( usually shown by a semafor or price channel )

2. New energy ( usually shown by heiken ashi bars or an oscillator cross )

Add divergence as a filter and the signal becomes even stronger .

So to answer your question , Yes any indicator that will do 1. and 2. , will work.

Whatever combination you end up with ..you MUST stick to it until you Master it .

Thanks for your interest.

Good Trading .............

Hello,

CCI works with macd also......I use the macd for divergence confirmation....

The CCI(15) gives good signals when crossing the 63-65 range from above or below...

Keep practicing!

Welcome to mt4 dchappy, and your other charts were so inspiring to :(

I'll miss them.
Is price closing higher or lower than something? Simple yet powerful question. ..MO

I´ve been taking a break for a couple of days and perhaps need some more.
Got burned bad because i´ve got some issues in our family. This did make my emotions rise very high, which made me to THINK while trading, which causes me to take bad trades or waiting to long. Sometimes i wish i had a on/off switch on my brains...

Anyway, this is my current trade.

Enjoy your day.
Anyway, started again today.
