For anyone interested in the EA for setting trailing stops less than 15 pips
or for who just forget to apply the trailing stop.
I just tested it. All credits goes to the MT Forum where i´ve found it.

Remember though that the bot will apply the given trailing stop to ALL currently opened orders!!!

Have fun.

Thanks to you Chappy!
Yesterday it finally dawned on me that i´m to much asking of myself and not given myself any space to make mistakes (so i can learn from them)

This results in overtrading, taking profits to soon etc... Not saying it´s easy but i´m starting to SEE things. Like you said, learn the method, do it over and over again and the money will follow.

Hope you´re doing fine!

Enjoy your day, Phil

I think i´m still struggeling to find the ´right´ trading direction. Entered at the arrow, being stopped out for the second time today.

I just can´t seem to get the right trading direction. Anyone any advice?
I just thought this entry was ok, no steep trend , so i thought it would be ok to go countertrend. Or is just this the issue i must seem to master to NEVER go against the trend (channel?)

Hi Phil,
yes, you are against the trend :)
In this screenshot the first bar is at top-left of the screen and the bar where you draw the arrow is at the bottom-right, so this is a down trend.

Cheers from Diamante :)

Hi Flinux,
Are you having fun?
How´s the wheather?

Yes i really need to (un)learn things. But no need to rush.
Ok, but i´m a bit confused. Do you all NEVER go against the current trend? I know you did show me some graphs about swinging and trending but now i´m wondering whether any of you take countertrends.

Below is the trade the trailingstopbot just closed. Noticed i did insert the RSI indie to examine the momentum at the moment. I want to learn this also, see if it can help filtering out the false signals.

Have fun!
@Flinux: Enjoy your holiday!

The above trade posted by Phil at 9:02 today was A+; with the trend short at top of the channel; doesn't get any better.

Sorry to keep on about this but in case it helps, I do not see the point in having indis on your chart if you are not going to use them.

Both the channel and the 3 sema on your chart said the right trading direction was down.
