Hi Chappy,

Do you have a hard SL at -10, or do you get out of a losing trade based on price action? other? And what about TP?

Thanks,
Ric

Hi Ric : I set an initial SL at +3 above /below the last swing ( usually about 15 pips) . At 15 in profit the stop moves to break even . I try to let it run to the opposite side of the channel but if the HA color changes ( on bar close ) I pull the plug . I Like the EU cause it does'nt "spike" like some do . If I can bank 40 pips I'm done for the day ....Thanks, Chap

Ric : I need to add this ( for new people ) Don't use someone elses SL #'s blindly. Make sure your account can handle the risk . TRO has some risk/reward calculators that will keep you out of trouble....

Personally , I find the corrections easier to trade . Give me a nice slow Zig-Zag over a strong trend any day . Just a few more pips & I'm done for today........Drain-em

Hi dchappy... thanks for the PM.

I'm probably going to get flagged for this, but could you post the indicators/template for this ninja platform? I'm assuming metatrader is what is used... no? Where did you even get this setup?

Thanks

Hi Patriot : TRO has proven to me that price moves in a defined channel ,and that is what I base my trading on .
I have no template to give you but it's best if you build a chart yourself (you will understand it better ).

Any platform will work :
First drop a channel on your price chart ( regression ,deviation , price channel ,many names for the same thing ) a channel is just trend lines bracketing the prices highs & lows .

Give it a determined length ( I'm using 60 bars in length ,30,90,120 they all work ,If you have MT4 TRO has the indic 's ).

Then I add a trigger that I trust ( cci for me ,macd , stochastics ,z-lines, moving ave , really almost anything will work & after a while you may not need the trigger )

Then just pick a timeframe you are comfortable with and follow the rules(there are only 2 )

Sounds simple right ? It is ...
Will every signal be profitable ..............abolutely not
Will enough signals work to make me smile at the end of the day ?..You bet

Keep it simple , trust the sema & trade well.......Chappy
