Thanks Chappy,
How are you doing right now?
Are you trading for a living right now with this method?
I still have a question which makes a bit confused. In the attached picture i´ve drawn a circle where the sema 3 occurred. My question is when do you enter? At the first blue one, or at the second yellow line. I´ve read and heard different approaches. I thought we have to wait until the HA and Box color matches and until the HA candle closes, so that would make for us to enter at the second line?
Am i right about this?
By the way, with this method i made 8 wins in a row! And i´m not planning to stop this. When i have another profitable week, i´ll increase my lotsize.
Thanks in advance,
Phil

Phil :Yes , I like to enter @ the close of the 1st candle that agrees with the cci color .
I work a regular job in the summer and trade full time in the Fall & Winter .
Last year using this method my acccount went from $400 to $12 K .
Start slow with small amounts and don't overtrade .
Good Luck .....

Thanks Chappy,
Great to ´have´ such mentors like you around here who will share there knowledge so all can benefit.
Yes, i´m still trading with 1 microlot until i´m able to follow the rules without thinking. No need to rush.
I´ll keep you posted.
I hope this year your account will grow from 12K to 100K or more!
Trade well.

LOL.. I;ve never thought of myself as a "mentor " just a struggling trader trying to make a paycheck ..but thanks .
Any success that I have had has come from the unselfish folks on this forum.
dchappy do you still trade macd divergence.
Yes , I have been concentrating on divergence on a longer ( 20 range ) timeframe .

Hi All,
Great thread. Pretty much understand this style except for one item (this probably proves I don't understand it !!!).....anyways could someone please help, what does the number '3' mean in relation to the semifor. I can see people post this number and make reference to it, but still I just can't figure it out

Appreciate your help.
As this thread is titled.....so I too am a Ninjatrader user. Those that have the '3' coded, I assume, are using code written for other platforms.
Am I right that the '3' is simply the Swing Strength ?
Thanks again for any help.

Pretty much. A lot of the traders here use MT4, the Sema indi is coded for it. I believe Chappy refers to it for the benefit of the MT4 user. You can google the definition for it. I think your pretty close with your swing strength/distance idea.

Hi Fran : Yes , as T-man says ,the 3sema is an mt4 indy .
For Ninja I have been using the regression channel ..
When price is at the edge of the channel THAT is a semafor .
I have looked high & low for a similar 3 sema indy for Ninja , but havent found one yet )
If you include divergence with the sema , I believe it adds more dependability to the signal .
