What time do you start trading? What time do you stop trading? When do you sleep? How does your wife feel about this trading project? How close are you to saying good bye to your J.ust O.ver B.roke thing?

does the regression channel in this system repaint? and sometimes i see that the channel range is very small like 1 or 3 pips, does that mean that you have to go in with several lots to make $100 dollars with such small moves in between the channel?

hey chap do you trade from the 'chart trader' on the ninja platform? and around how many pips do you take using this strategy? and what is the widest of a spread that you will get into for this strategy? and around how far do you put your stop away from your entry? do you use a particular risk/reward ratio??

THANKS!!!

Hi crocop , Yes ,The channel moves with the price movement .

If the range is that narrow , go to a bigger timeframe ( greater than 20 pips should be good ) .

I've gotten used to setting a stop +3 above or below the last swing , it usually holds 90% of the time .

I try to stay in the trade until the HA bar changes color .

Yeah , I use chart trader ( the DOM confuses me )

Trade well.......

Hi dchappy,

Wonder if you like to have a look at GBPUSD or even EURJPY/GBPJPY - better return in the long run (range-wise).

BTW, the setting for your regression channel is 60 period and 2 std dev?

Thanks.

THANKS dchappy, i am trying the strategy right now and it looks BEAUTIFUL!!! so would you stick to some rule that the channel range should be around 20 pips? and do you use limit orders to get in or do you get in using market orders? and when you said to increase the time because the channel is too narrow, are you saying that i should increase the range of the chart? because i am using a range chart just like you or how would i increase the time to make the channel wider?

thank you!

hey chappy.... i noticed that a the CCI box was appearing before a candle, and that the second CCI box was matching with the current candle, i thought this was weird, because when i look at your charts, the CCI box matches exactly with the current candle....any feedback? thanks

cr0cop,

I think I am asking what's the unit of width. Anyway I found it here:
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/Help ... ionChannel. It's indeed std dev.

Hi dchappy,

I think you are using range bar which doesn't involve any timeframe.

Increasing the range of each bar (from 10 to 20, for example) increases the regressional channel width as the std dev widen.
