EURUSD update

Postby Paul&Paul » Tue Oct 18, 2011 8:08 pm

EURUSD agained scared longs to death diving below 1.3686. And it recovered leaving behind a UPO-repeller at exactly the same level as on October 13.
It is not a coincidence but it shows how chaos can be precise and orderly.
Right now it is climbing to reach 1.3839. It remains to be seen whether that would be all for this week. Still the bulls have a lot to say. Some say: too much.
When EURUSD returns to 1.3839, it will be not a trifle return.
Meantime the coal train pulls more carriages up the road. Volatility is splendid for any kind of trading one can imagine.
Many a time the idea is to pull as many coaches as possible and then to derail them, especially the double-deck lounge cars.
A new idea is to punish speculators for... yes, actually what for? Who pulls the train? Who operates the semafors? Who are those speculators by name?

The last UPO @ 1.3686 is well above the recent low 1.3652.
The low is visible to everyone, the UPO only to you. Quite a nice warning signal to evacuate more than 30 pips earlier than the public. Just in case.

Amid the deliberations upon the eurocrisis, the enormous losses incurred by (investment) banks and the likelihood of default of Greece and huge problems of some other countries we come to the beginning of it all and that is the method we understand numbers and the way we use them.

The first question is whether the numbers we use pertain to reality? What is real in this whole mess? Is a negative balance sheet real or unreal? There is no evident physical content to the notion of a negative number of physical objects.

Negative integers play an organizational role such as with financial transactions. But do they have direct relevance to the physical world?

Time and again I say that someone's enormous losses are somebody's enormous profits. Yet we are bombarded with losses losing the sight of those profiteering.

Balance sheets are built with strikingly simple mathematics. Does this simplicity well reflect reality?

There are numbers which play a fundamental role in the workings of the universe. These are complex numbers. These strange numbers distrusted for hundreds of years play an extraordinary and very basic role in understanding the physical universe at its tiniest scales.

The notion of mass is not additive in modern physical theory. This issue is being totally ignored by the banks. Worse than that, for their ignorance all the others are asked to pay.

About EURUSD loops and strings

Postby Paul&Paul » Thu Oct 20, 2011 9:13 am

Red colour I used to mark loops, first a runaway from a repeller, then a return to the UPO. I show thus how a repeller turns into an attractor and then the attractor turns into a repeller. It is a rubber band of chaos. It happens in every scale. Prices vibrate in strings and this phenomenon is independent on the type or the kind of financial instrument observed. This string vibration is caused by some energy settled in triggers.
Most number of strings are small strings, some medium size hardly fit the size of the chart we study. Rarer very big strings cannot be seen on any single page. Cannot see, cannot feel it. Nevertheless there are pretty many big strings over a few months history of any instrument.
Strings within strings, loops within loops. Their behavior is the same everywhere you look. This is the universality of chaos.
