Attached is a PINBAR manual.

TRO, it looks like you need to work on the 2nd eye. The 2nd eye should test the level of the first eye or be within only a few pips of the first eye's level.

what are the colored crosshairs or +'s doing in your tradsation, i have esig. the cyan and magenta ones in one chart and the white ones in the other.

I think pinbars are usefull. When the nose of the pinbar pokes (and returns) through support lines, it's a great indication that the trend is reversing. The simplicity of the pinbar is actually deceiving in my opinion, because it does take some practice not only to recognize a "good" pinbar, but to know that it is in the right place.
