What is the name of the indicator for tradestation that is similar to TRO_TRADE_ZONES for esignal. I'm trying to recreate the chart used in the picture from your post in this thread on Mon Sep 11, 2006 10:40 am.
Thanks,
Jason

TRO, I am trying to follow your thinking. I am a novice, and just now starting to get my feet wet. I have a few questions.

I have been under the impression that the problem with day trading is that slippage and commission do not allow enough swing to make for profitable trading.

I do not have Tradestation, but I am interested in understanding the underlaying concept behind Milk the Cows and PMSM. I presume that like the below, your approach is multicomponent. I am interested in understanding the components.

http://www.esignallearning.com/educatio ... efault.asp

[Ken Calhoun's Breakout/Bounce Approach

Level 1: The NASDAQ Composite Range Check
Level 2: The NASDAQ Volume Check
Level 3: Sector Percentage Check
Level 4: Tier 1 Lead Stock Check
Level 5: Core Trading Basket Check
Level 6: Time and Sales Check
Level 7: Multiple Position Check]

Again, I presume that the "Cows" move in a predictable way every morning. But which way, who, what, why, and when?

The PMSM, I presume that like a slot machine, when all the colored dots line up, you got a winner. Each color is a factor, what are the factors?

Google is a $400+ dollar stock. Is it not so the higher the value, the less volitile a stock becomes. To milk it, it would need to be volitile.

TRO,

Actually, I did use the forums search function to try and find an answer before asking the question, and this was the most obvious thread. I will look through the other threads.
