there are the mtc single and multi but they look different.
do the mtc trades work on futures like ES and YM?
thanks

_SMAA_MTC_TRADE should be in there somewhere!
I don't trade futures, so you'll have to tell me.

traderwep wrote:hi another milk the cow esignal question. what are the parameters of the "trade" setups to be placed in the edit box. i dont really understand the milk the cow trade. it also appears to need daily bars in esignal, not 1minute bars?
thanks

Edit box??
Milk the Cow is simple... Use the TRO_TRADE_ZONES study for eSignal.
There's a short zone and a long zone. Go long in the long zone and short in the short zone.
_SMAA_MTC_TRADE must be an eld not an efs. i have esignal
i searched high and low in the motherlodes for esignal and cant find a _SMAA_MTC_TRADE
i did find a single and a multi mtc tro setup. that appears to be a milk the cow but does not appear to use 1min charts--maybe daily charts and looks very different? i would be happy to advise how it works on es or ym if i could find information as to how to setup and interpret the info from the esignal milk the cow. i have searched the board and cannot find anything that really explains it.
it is some sort of gap trade apparently but what does one do when there is the gap. what is the trade?
i do seem to be making progress with dynamic support and resistance which i have rewritten slightly to make use of the middle square with a median line and tcf/tdi--taking entries off retracements in certain circumstances to the median line. so far using .75 stop and 3 pt. target on a 3min 24hr chart.
i would like to understand the milk the cow trade on esignal, however. ES and YM often have gap openings.
thanks

The MTC post is an ELD, so not available for esignal?
Hi
i notice the attachement is a eld which is usually for tradestation or multicharts. i have esignal. so there is no MTC like you are using for esignal? that is probably why i could not find it
thanks
