a greeting.
I was gonna put this in my thread but i'll drop it here to. I'm working on trying to get my initial SL smaller so as to increase my RR. In the pic it just shows a 1hr zline getting wicked then the first 2 black lines show where I would have place either the BO entry or the wicked in entry. Then the rest of the black lines are places where I would have added on to the trade and the red line is just showing R turning into S. Exit would have been based on the 4hr zline or after a long body bar. There is also a awesome short trade that could have been taken after exiting the long.

EJ was choppy today. Not ideal to trade.
I find it hard many times to keep out of those pairs.
Would nice if any of our Big Brothers here can give us a few tips to filter ranging and treding pairs.

While I to have issues with this, here is how I try to deal with it when presented. You had price in between strong support (green line) and some resistance. That alone can cause price to bounce back and forth. Then you had price contracting and making smaller and smaller daily bars. Then to top it off you had a measuring bar (the bullish with the blue lines at the top and bottom). A measuring bar is a idea from Joe Ross. It basically just show congestion. MO had talked about it in I thought NLA thread but I have been rereading it this pass week and have yet to find it.
But when price is doing this it is best to either skip the pair or just look for some quick scalps.
Hope this helps.
