WEST!!!!!
Simple 123, TTE and now a retest of the 2 is setting up.
And while I still do basic SL/TP, you could have easily accumulated/Eights/ or whatever MM gets you to max size/lines simply trading the 4hr chart. Easy Triangle, H&S pattern and resistance becomes support trades. My 1st target is 1.50xx which is over 500 pips off the 1st trade. Then there is the potential to hold for 1.000-2,000 pips. Still workin on possible yearly high/low trades. Still don't have enough expierence to confidently take and hold them/or how to get out if price reverses/move/hide the SL behind PA. My trades are still all or nothing mostly (long term trades are won about 50%of the time).

Re: West's Trading Journey
Looks like we lost yesterday's posts here, as I am guessing the site got hacked and repaired today. No worries.
Update:
Mr Hyde,
I am in the trade that was discussed in yesterday's post here in this thread....so far, so good. Currently 130+ pips, I am letting this one run. Big thanks again for the support!

Re: West's Trading Journey
I exited here below. I wanted to get out before the long Holiday weekend. This was my best trade of the year, with a nice (almost) 3 to 1 return.
Happy Holidays all! Lets have a great 2018
All the best, and thanks for all the support and encouragement in 2017.

Re: West's Trading Journey
This is it, last trade of the year here which lasted all week long. Wanted to close out things for the Year so did not hold until my ultimate target.
Happy New Year to All.

That just made my day, week, month, year.
Lets see what your org. trade plan was (entry/sl,exit).
I did a quick mark up in the hourly showing you possible add ons (worth 350 pips).
Hope u got back in sometime. Looks like its about to break support.
I should have told u about the G/N 123 on the daily to if I knew u were gonna trade it. Looking to break DWM support
Re: West's Trading Journey
Some easy trade setups for the week since we still had a bearish view. I used doji boxes to show them.

Re: West's Trading Journey
Mr. H,
Thanks for checking in here. I just had 3 nicely profitable weeks here in a row (over the holidays, no less) using larger charts (and not scalping). If it was not for your friendly encouragement here (as well as the other threads and people on this forum), I don’t think I would have given the Higher Timeframe based trading a look at, so a big thank you (and to All). This experience is making me want to further explore the higher timeframe trading.
I have been basing my HTF analysis on really simple things:
+ 1,2,3
+ Looking Left for areas of interest, structure, support/resistance.
+ employing add-on entries once in profit
I also am inspired by Doji’s Momentum boxes, and I like how you are using those on HTF chart; I need to consider that as well. Good job!
I am still exploring and trying to find my niche with Higher time frame in terms of when to take profit, stop myself out, how long to hold for targets (or not) and that sort of thing. My R:R is definitely stronger (2 to 1, 3 to 1) on these longer term trades than on my scalping (1.5 to 1); hence I am going to explore this more.

NZD/USD:
This one a loss. I simply thought there would be a bounce near my “100” Fib line and was wrong.
