Mr. Hyde and MO: Good question & answers, thanks for some more perspective on 1-2-3 strategy!

Here are some trades to share from NY & Asian session.

NY:
AJ: This was a breakout trade to the Long side, but it went against me for -14.
UJ: Just went short with Momentum, I took about +10 pips on each of two entries.

Asia:
NU: 1-2-3 trade, entered early at the #3 point, +7
UJ: 1-2-3 trade, +15.

So another 28 pips, it looks good. 1%+ a day is the golden goose. Try to master 1 to 2 ideas to achieve this.

Today I took a nice ride up with a 1-2-3 on the Hourly chart...

Thanks Alias, yeah, I need to master just one or two strategies.

Sometimes jumping in slightly before my bias prints the way I want it to...(eg. meaning at the crossover of "0" on the histogram)...

This has been a hard realization for me to take to heart:

I can't do "whatever I want" when trading; I must follow structure. I can only do "whatever I want" with the profits and with being successful.

Thanks TRO, that hit me like a ton of bricks last night, and it's something I need to fully own, integrate, and fully take to heart.

I don't believe structure to mean trade like a robot. It could help to have a guiding light concept about who/what you are when it comes to your trading style. I guess it would be an "identity".

Then when you are trading you can ask yourself if what you are doing or about to do fits those principles.

Example....I am not a trader that will hold on to a 1000 pips loss...lol...I wonder who did that.

Yeah that makes sense Alias, an "identity", and that is what I am working to develop. Thanks for the perspective.

Took a little time off, been busy in other areas and needed a little mental break.

Back at it here this morning...tried to squeeze 20 pips out of this one, finally took profit here. . . now its blazing upwards. I think I am going to start new way to manage the money on these trades, based on some of the suggestions earlier given to me in this thread. I need to get that together and moving forward.
