It was a good post election NY open for me. I took either:
1) 1-2-3 trades (first two charts) (...working to choose that #2 point (or zone?) more effectively)
2) simple breakout trades (last three charts)

Two more trades tonight in Asian session. Same pair as this morning (EJ). This time traded to the downside based on 1-2-3. (Red arrow entries)
(Special thanks to dchappy, MO, Alias, Pro and V8 on their discussion or threads lately about 1-2-3, you all really inspire me.)

Reminds me what MO cautioned me about in the beginning of the thread about "flatlined" pairs...
This one kinda feels like that to me, so better for me to not trade it right now.

So now you stick with it and master it. There will be good times and possibly not so good times, but as a manual/discretionary trader you are the success factor.

Using proper money management based on your skill level will keep you in the game.

Trading the M15 chart: Volitility based
Beginner = atr(21) of the H4 chart equals 1%
Level 2 = atr(21) of the H1 chart equals 1%
Level 3 = atr(21) of the M30 chart equals 1%
Level 4 = atr(21) of the M15 chart equals 1%

Using OPM to step up for short specific durations.
In my experience I prefer to not use more than 25:1 leverage and less than 4% risk on a single trade.
Trade Your Way as Long as It Makes Money!

Wednesday morning in NY open:

My focus was on two simple areas:
a) 1-2-3
b) simple breakouts over a line

1. EU: Was stalking a potential 1-2-3, and it never materialized to the upside. (screen 1) ...so no trade.
2. EU: Finally price broke #1 point to the downside, so traded away from the 1-2-3, and I took a short as a breakout trade (screen 2)
3. AJ: Loss of -10 (screen 3)
4. EC: Breakout short (screen 4)
5. EC: Re-entered on pullback for another short (screen 4)
