I remember MO telling someone its better to trade $500 aggressively than $5000 cautiously.

Yes, definitely some crazy swings. AGAIN, this week, from my weekly low to the +33% trade I was holding onto, is actually a gain of 62.5% if you calculate from my weekly low balance!!
But like I said, NFP is over, so I'll be more responsible going forward.

The race is to +39 to 58.49%; adding a zero in 5 to 7 targets.

Do you need to take big risks to go from 33 to 39%? Probably not.

$1000
1. 1390
------------{ 1584 } 1
2. 1932
------------{ 2584 } 2
3. 2685
4. 3733
------------{ 3981 } 3
5. 5188
------------{ 6309 } 4
6. 7212
------------{ 10000 } 5 <--- +0
7. 10025 <--- +0

Don't target infinity/sextillions, trade to and from targets.

Once you add a zero, that $390 that you were so excited about is only worth $39 to you & another zero from now it will look like a cup of coffee :)
So don't focus on the here and now but always look to the future [-o<

Make sure you don't add many zeros before you slap your boss  Otherwise you may lose a few when he sues you  seen as though you are in the land of sue #-o

Alas, I should be revising...

I guess it is if the %58.49 is hit instead ? 5 targets for a 0 @ %58.49 or 7 for a 0 @ %39.... Compounding..

I had a question, starting with 1000 say risk %1 over 40 pips, i.e 0.25 per pip.. Is this the risk profile used for the first entry and then add as price goes for.. I guess this is what you mean, as .25 a pip aint getting that %39 any time soon

Understand what you SEE  oh God, if it were only that easy

<--- to the left we have targets of +39%
---> to the right we have targets of +58.49%

When a target is reached then your space is reset and your initial lot size is based on the target account size
(either $1390 or $1584).

Tyger,
It is entirely possible to add two zeros!
When you see just how close the first target is then you think to yourself "4 or so more? easy, easy!"

Seedling,
With $10,000 I could still add a zero starting with $0.20 or $0.30 pips; & the delay would be insignificant:

$10,000 * 0.025% = $2.50/pip.
$1,000 = $0.25/pip

1st cycle: $0.25 to $0.75
2nd cycle: $0.75 to $2.25!

A long time ago I said "more risk is more risk, more profit is more profit"
he who has an ear let him hear
