In all fairness, if I was to zoom out my H4 and Daily Charts the same way I do my M90, I guess this is what I'd be looking at: (my problem being the only way I can look at candles that small is if I put a CC overlay on them. And I figure it must be overlay overkill at that point if my main focus is on M15/M45's)

Paper Trader 07-07-10

Paper Trade / Observations on how to trade

b/c I am too busy at the moment. :cry:
(Points of interest based on the extreme high and the close of that M270CC MOMO.)

Can't wait to follow up on this one :idea:

Prevailing Thoughts at the moment:
{Price doesn't normally move in straight lines.}
{...Lastly, Zlines and MightyZones are cheats for trading EQUILIBRIUM LINES!!}

My normal M90 zoom out, which is the furthest that I usually zoom out to:

H4 zoom out as I make myself get used to these damn teeny tiny smaller candles :smt013 :

EJ Trade...While on a Greyhound Bus!!

Postby TygerKrane » Tue Jul 13, 2010 1:04 am

Practicing drawing a line in the sand, and how to exit gracefully (i.e. with breakeven or small loss) when smaller timeframe candles begin to close against me.

Additionally, since this trade is off of Daily + Extreme AND right after a MOMO, gonna try to build a position down, see how far I might try and drain it.

::Edit:: Scratch building a position...I'm actually on a long bus ride trading :D and unsure of how long I'll monitor trade, so I'll probably set a TP.

es/pip,
So your thing is drawing lines from the extremes?? (yes, I know it does seem like blatantly stupid question to ask :oops: ...)

Krane

ps.
I guess looking for a bit more insight on the pic, thanks.

That turned out bad.

Not so much because price kept going down below my line when I wanted to go long, though.

More b/c I forgot, TO TRADE AWAY FROM MY LINE. #-o

My Ego got in the way, like a very sneaky ninja :smt027 . I didn't even realize that my focus had switched to 'only wanting to be right about my long bias.' Sneaky bastard. :smt074

So I ended up putting on a few long trades on the wrong side of my line. [-X

And I'm pretty certain that I am able to trade away from a line :roll:
Well, I'm pretty certain that I understand the concept of trading away from a line. :-k

Hate them sneaky egos. Always taking over my mind without me knowing. He's always talking to me and telling me how to think.
