Long attempt off the D1 low. After my entry, PA went low again, so I adjusted my SL higher. Not sure why I was so cheap for an 8pip SL rather than a 10pip SL, which would've matched the PA as seen on the M5.
The 8pip SL got hit just barely, and later my TP was reached

Adjusted SL after the previous M30 wick got tested (possible Stop Run ↠Long), I should've matched the M5 PA here

Over the last few weeks, I've been observing a filter to simplify my trade selection.
I'm ready to trade based in this adjustment, and hopefully it will help things out.

I suppose it's still kind of a negative that I haven't been posting some of my more likeable trades... at least for me to easily find the kind of trade decisions that I would like to duplicate in the future.

Just bumped into this thread. What are you trading? Zlines?
Please take this with a grain of salt and don't take it as an 'attack'; your thread is long and I might seem presumptuous by just posting in here after 138 pages, but I think you're a little bit all over the place sometimes. Something that has helped me is sticking to only one pair, that alongside with taking notes before and after each trade helps a lot (and even what you were feeling at the time!). It's easier to pick up on some things and you'll know what to expect from some moves and even the times that they happen at.

I made the mistake of taking trades on every pair that I could so I could get experience, more trading opportunities and "skin in the game", but I didn't know that it was hindering my learning progress. Then I chose one pair, took notes, and the learning became easier, faster and less stressful. I know everyone's different so I'm not necessarily telling you that you should do this, but it might help you.

If you don't have much time, you could also check aliassmith's new thread trading daily charts.

Best of luck :) .

Hey everybody!
I invite you all to celebrate with me, I am super happy that I got my account back to $1500!!
I was soo close to depositing $200 to bring myself back up.

OK, ok, I'll admit that it was with a last-ditch effort, over-leveraged trade that I held onto (I didn't even take screenshots since it wasn't precisely a part of my regular trading plan).

But anyway, I'm back to my preferred starting point, and ready to continue with my adjusted trade filter criteria that has been evolving and has been improving my results.

My account is actually at $1487 now, I lost -1.4% from my week high ($1509), as I ended up risking 40 pips over 4 entries that I wanted to attempt, after closing that big trade that brought my account over $1500.

Actually, those additional 4 entries weren't part of my trade plan either, I was just feeling euphoric and wanted to see if I could get any more "lucky market premonitions" going to continue my good fortune.
So now that I got that lack-of-discipline out of my system, my energy is settled down and I am ready to just stick with the g*ddamn plan.
(Had I stuck with my plan, those add'l entries would have been successful trades, go figure, SMH)

I have also decided to change up my forex pair lineup, I've also dropped it down to 5 pairs instead of 6.
AUDNZD / CADCHF / EURCAD / NZDUSD / USDCHF

I am also now definite on my use of permanently keeping up 4 chart timeframes to view.
D1 / H8 / M30 / M5

Also, it looks like the majority of my trades will be in the 10pip TP range, at least as far as building up OPM. My new trade filter considerations make me feel comfortable in deciding between shorter term direction and longer term direction, but I have so much trouble getting THE entry that makes the longer term move, that I have really learned & felt the wisdom of using OPM to attempt finding my entry into these less probable longer term moves.

Here is my chart setup (I only trade on my phone):
