AJ
-10 & +10
2 trades, I was trying to get a trade off of the gap up that AJ started the week with last week.
Manual Entry
Set a 10pip SL which got hit (85.764)
Re-entered Short as PA returned to my first entry price. I was worried about if the M30 PA would PB, so I based my SL on the M5 PA @14pips instead of my regular 20pips.
Preset TP of 10pips hit. It wasn't triggered the first time around.

NU
-10 & +15
An impulsive trade based on NU closing its opening gap, followed by a responsible entry after looking/waiting for sufficient Long PA Exhaustion.
Manual Entry
Manually closed -10pips when I realized that M5 was still moving up strongly and that it would be stupid to take a bigger loss on a gamble entry
Manual re-entry Short. Really liked the entry on this one
Manual TP, 15pips

Week 9
Week Ending 12/15/17
-7.68%
Entries: 19
Week High: 0.29%
Week Low: -7.68%
I thought could get away with trading aggressively, probably because I traded so much the previous week; and even though that week was a breakeven, I felt I had a better chance of knowing where the charts would go for the next week.

Um, your only mistake was you thought you knew where the market was going.
...and you lost too much this week.

2017 Review
I just did a tally of my trading in 2017:
I traded 29 weeks
I traded 11 weeks profitably
This mentions nothing however, of how big those profits/losses were, but you can already guess that my losses were far larger than my gains.
The next thing I want to do is figure out how much I have deposited into Forex thus far.
I know a have post in here somewhere where I last calculated it...I need to find it and than start from there.
I hope it is not hard to find my deposits, because I changed brokers twice since 2016.
Then I will begin with my 2018 trading

Scanned through all my posts from August 2012 onwards, no post done about my Trading Progress, it seems.
So probably the last post I did about my Trading Progress and adding up my Forex investment / deposits was back in 2010.
I think I have a notebook somewhere where I had continued the math, I'll have to find it sometime this year so I can start making an updated post.
Anywayz, back to trading next week!

Re: TygerKrane's Pip-Pickpocketing
Trying to figure out if I should go back to trading both Long and Short...
¹Am I just increasing the number of opportunities where I can take losses
Or,
²Can I take the information of a Short opportunity/attempt not working out, and therefore I have new, relevant information that the Longs are in control (yes, I hate it when I try to trade Short from an area, and then have to sit back and watch PA go 100pips long with a few Short PB's that I could've used to join the new move Long)

Happy New Year, Bitchesz!!!
So glad to be back, I'll start trading & posting trades etc. either next week or the week after. Let's see how much traffic court squeezes out of me... plus I think this might be the most opportune time for me to book my next vacation.
Then I will re-fund the account.
