NU
23pips @1stDouble

As much as I wanted to hold on for the sake of catching a daily trend,
I don't think there is much point in holding Short if PA is maintaining its place above the M30 candle I point to on the chart.

Entry. I really like the entry on this one

Now, I just need to not f  ck up in trying to find a re-entry Short, since that is still where I see the daily PA trending towards. #-o ](*,)

My Dilemma, 2:
¿Continue my NU Short, or, look for Long PA Exhaustion on UCad and start shorting there?

Still haven't taken an entry yet on either...
But you can probably understand why I am worried that I might have messed up / missed a good re-entry Short on NU...

And this is why Uncle Krane can't buy tons of Christmas presents for all his amazing and deserving nieces & nephews... :(

This is how I am starting out my Friday.
I have screenshots of the whole trade process, I'll post that up over the weekend.
I do want to just take the profit, but I am itching to get into some kind of daily trend (since I closed my NU Short).

The trade is currently @2ndDouble, and you can see my TP on the weekly chart
If I get stopped at my AVG line, I will be -0.5% for the week.
I really do want the week to end positive, but I will never ride a daily trend (and get those magnified gains) if I am too fearful, and always closing trades when the movement slows down...

From my 2ndDouble AVG line, ~116pips will get me to the next waypoint.
And if I manage a 3rdDouble, then I will only need ~58pips (from wherever that AVG line is) to make it to the next waypoint.

.

My Dilemma, (continued)
Still trying to determine my best action.
Perhaps I am being too stingy with my OPM... I *did* close the NU Short with 23pips @1stDouble, afterall. Additionally, I am also still in profit for the week.
Maybe I would feel less pressure if I only focus on doing my re-entry here at EntrySize. :-k

Also, note the two @EntrySize Short Orders I have placed on the UCad.

...EG Short, (continued)

Soo tempting to just close out with 60pips @2ndDouble here.
Wow, how difficult it is just trying to hold a trade open for two consecutive days...probably b/c my trading skill usually makes losing weeks rather than winning weeks :x

Note:
The entry order on the chart; The 3rdDouble Add-In, plus a 20pip TP after that (to close all entries), gets me to the next waypoint.

EG
2.5pips @3rdDouble

Why I moved my SL to +2.5pips, instead of exiting somewhere around +28pips ~ +38pips @3rdDouble:
¹ Wanting to hold a trade to catch a daily trend (if necessary, if my TP wasn't hit on Friday)
² Not wanting to have a losing week
³ Having the TP to reach a waypoint within the range of a daily candle

(Additionally, I was thinking that price wouldn't bounce up more than 30pips from the psychological number, .8700)

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
At my AVG line, my account was at @-0.5%.
My risk box is 0.6%, and at 3rdDouble size I lose 0.6% every 2.5pips.

Sometimes I will add additional risk boxes into a trade to instantly give myself more space, but I would feel VERY stupid if I went from +6.7% on the week, to -2.5%. [4 risk boxes at 3rdDouble is 10 pips of space].
I am not sure what the lesson in all of this is supposed to be.

However, I do know that I am supposed to be profitable without riding on a daily trend, since I can't control when one is going to start. So I guess that is what I really need to be working on.
When I focus too much on trying to catch a daily trend, I usually put my account negative since price ends up coming back to my entry.

================
Looking at the chart now, DID NOT imagine that it would rise +60 pips off of the day low (+50 above the psychological number).

Stopped trying to get an entry on either pair, after I exited my EG Short. I would've felt stupid to go negative for the week after the money I turned my back on.

Here is how the two pairs moved though, after my last screenshot

UCad, (the lower entry would've been triggered, but PA moved back into the area. if I didn't take the quick TP, I probably would've taken a loss, since PA didn't make a sustained short move afterall)

For this upcoming week, all 5 of my pairs look like they are good candidates for long-term shorts, blessing and a curse, I suppose.
I am hoping most for EG and UCad, however. (But I will admit that the daily chart for NU looks better than the daily chart for UCad.)
