NU Short
5 pips

The PA for this entry was one that i really liked; I was CERTAIN that it could hit my measly little 10 pip TP...
So yes, I felt kind of stupid when I manually closed the trade for only 5 pips, after such an agreeable entry. Crazy how PA moved against me afterwards.

I definitely snatched defeat from the jaws of victory this week. So I still have to adjust my Forex Trading Brain a little.
I had a week high of 3.3%.
If I do any trading over the next 2 weeks, it will be at reduced leverage. It's probably best that I stay on the grind a little, constantly practicing a little bit of everything.

Interesting week, I had plenty opportunities to exit between +10 - +20pips, and I just refused to take them...
I'm not going to trade this week after Christmas, but I think for the first two weeks of 2017, I should just focus on taking these small profits and trading no larger than my 1stDouble size.
The week also forced me to think again about how I handle Adding-In. I know what I'm supposed to be doing, but it is not translating into what I am actually doing, something else is taking over, apparently.

First Trading Day of 2017

Hmmm, so I don't know what to make of this.
8 entries today, 0.7% gain (a little more than 1 risk box earned)

I guess the issue today was that I REALLY felt the weight of trying to wait for my best entry scenarios.

During this process, naturally, I missed a GREAT move, and also missed out on a quick scalp that I had an idea for.
I'm just doing my best to try and take it slow and have EVEN MORE self control.
At the same time, all throughout the day, I was also just contemplating how no entry is guaranteed, even if the scenario DOES seem to be lined up well when I hit the "SELL" button...

Last week (and especially the last four days), I spent A LOT of time trying to understand what my best entry scenarios were...and this is my first day back trading live, so I guess that added a bit to me feeling slightly uncomfortable as I was trying to do the right things irrespective of short-term results.

I really need to find my balance between Patience and Action, b/c when all is said and done, technical analysis can only give you a probability of what will happen next.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another interesting thing:
35.7pips, but from my daily dollar gain, it is really 24.5pips. I have never tried to calculate the difference before, I would just trade based off of the pips that I gained from trades. I will continue to do so.
Interesting week, it didn't have a positive result, but at the same time, I can't say that I want to kick myself for anything I was doing either.
"Doing the right things irrespective of short term results."
Easier said than done because when you don't get that positive result, the first thing you want to do is attack the things you've been doing.
For the most part though, I felt like I was on the right path for my trading style, so we'll see what happens over the next two weeks.
UCad made such a strong short move last week. I was hoping for a big PB Long so I could be more confident to enter, but overall, I just couldn't get myself the confidence to go after it.
UCad
NU
-13 pips
I pretty much like the entry; I see how I could've waited a little longer for more confirmation, but with those upper wicks visible on the H2, to hell with all that sometimes.
