Really nice trade Captain!
Thanks for uploading your charts

For me, the lower line looks like perfect exit 8)

If possible, could someone shed some light about this triangle methodology? I tried to do a search about this method on this forum and i find keywords that are dated all the way back to 2009, but not anything specific regarding this methodology. Altough i do see some of MO's posts talking about triangles, but nothing about him elaborating and explaining what it is, but only reffering it. Are we talking ascending and descending triangles or are there specific type triangles?

Regards

You can look up Diamonds of Perception and other stuff on my motherload of information.

Apologies if I am talking to a long time trader

But - Its my opinion that cones are a tool to help in revealing some confluence in your trading ideas - not as a primary tool to take a position.

I know MO said he wished he never introduced them as it took the eye away from the real prize -[something along those lines anyway]

For my part I am very glad I took the time to learn

Jalarupa has some brilliant charts on DOP (cones)

Got out a tad early in the evert!

The same angles as the last chart - I took the long but from outside of the s**t zone about the middle of bottom box ( which would have meant holding over the weekend - and I wont do that unless I'm up a LOT atm)

And I took an add about where price retraced half way - I put the standard chart on my thread

I did not spot the correct place to put the line here - still this is all new to me

HEY the forum automatically cencored the word s**t - LETS TRY *censored - swear word*

wanker (hey you missed one)!!!

ahhh BRILLIANT STUFF

Same angles as the above charts - the aspect ratio is different, that's all

I don't use MT4 to trade - but for this new demo MT4 account I actually remembered to put a long and a short in to keep the account open - hence the green line - plainly I am short

The equidistant channel tells me something

The bottom of the crash zone lines up with something

The end of the month tells me something - lets hope I haven't displeased the Gods by posting this markup :) !!

Yep these cones are a really useful addition
