You only learn when you are risking money;

reading forums & what people call "paper trading" is just BSing, getting a few ideas before you go to the front lines.

So true, experience goes a long way and helps reinforce certain behaviours. Sometimes bad behaviours too..

True, you learn faster when there is money on the line.
But I like reading the forum (Kreslik) it gives me new idea's and perspectives I never had before.
Just like your and Dons discussion about charts (or better minimal charts), I can't participate because I just don't have the knowledge but I enjoy reading it a lot. I must say I don't read other stuff online anymore. Like you said; mostly BS and a waist of my time.

An old man once told me, "nobody knows what you think they know" and he was right; everyone has an opinion, and some opinions are just better than others.

Tried a couple of trades today, these were the highlights and these were enough

Did a couple of trades later on but they came out at be or so
Happy with them and even more happy that my trading is getting consistent now.
I like the dax, like how it moves...

Today I finished my day with a loss.
It was my fault.
I wasn't focussed and didn't plan to trade in the first place. So when the day passed I did a couple of trades on my phone. They all were losses.
Obviously I should have known better because I simply can't trade on my phone (yet).
Taking this loss made me realize it was a while ago I had a substantial loss.
Made me feel better instantly (not less stupid, but better)

Wasn't trading this one for a while because I found it hard to find one. They were there but I just wasn't able to see them in real time.
Today I did on GU.
Took profit when it wiped out the complete Asian session.

Same to you :)
You got kids? do you play hide the easter eggs with them?
My wife's family did it a lot and it would be days before they would find the eggs. Tried the tradition with our kids, but after about an hour they gave up, so it never really took off.

Are you one of those furries? :)
