Today I wasn't too focussed and that led to three losses to start with.
I also got killed in a GJ trade so the day started with -4R
Turned out ok, tricky trade but ok.

Never really looked at GJ before but the MZones seem to draw up nicely, going for a small sell.

What I like about GJ is that when trading EU and GJ I actually trade most of the big currencies and it looks like they don't conflict.

I guess EU is cheap as well for scalping and I have heard GJ has good volatility. win win

It looks to me like you are ignoring Alias' color coding system. . .
#1 you had a green close over and continuation.
#2 no green close over, failed long breakout, possible short trade from low close over.
#3 very weak green close over, a number of failed breakouts, z-level bouncing (multi-level S&R / Range), MA and close over favoring a short.
#4 price above MA, green close overs, but no real progress is being made to the upside; it's #3 all over again.
That's my take on it, Alias might see it differently, IDK.

Wow, interesting to see how you see it.
#1 I wouldn't see it like that...but I do now
#2 was actually a failed IB trade
#3 and #4 is like you said there just isn't a lot of movement and sometimes I have a hard time recognizing that in time.
This was a frustrating morning...I remember those trades well.
Thanks! I like how you see the zones/consolidations/groups of closing prices and see how price leaves these areas.

Re: The story of Yirbu
Near the end of the day the tables turned (because stopping is always temporarily)...I ended up having a very good day.
I guess this is why my trading feels wobbly.
Part of it I guess has to do with not recognizing the state the market is in.
Today I had quite some losses and I see a recurring pattern if there is US news later on the day.
I really need to fix this.
To fix my losses I scalped the dax and it went quite well. (there were 2 be but this is it)
In the mean time I catched about a 100 pips on GJ
All these pips covered my losses from this morning and added a handsome profit on top of it.
Now I feel really tired.

Are those hourly candles on your line chart?
