1st bullet targets the previous high (close price) and second bullet target was the high reached before the second pullback after my entry. (hope that makes sense). Both set and forget because I was having diner :roll:

Nice trade, the targets make sense. I like the idea of having dinner and money is being collected into your account at the same time :)

Well, that wasn't the idea but having diner together is very important to me.
I did set the first trade as a set and forget and peeked a couple of times for the second bullet.

US30 19:00 IB

Didn't like how price was moving so I was a bit careful with my entry and exit.

Sensible decision to hold off, you didn't have to wait that long before price closed above.

Despite I was a bit busy this morning I managed to do some trades.
My first trade was frustrating. Got in a short...immediately after I did see the double bottom and I froze...got killed, missed the boat up and Aaarghhh...
Had to wait for the next hour to get a proper retry and this delivered +11R...two more trades and I think it's ok like this; +14R

In retrospect my late entry going long delivered more R as would I have entered at the bottom because my SL would have been far bigger. (It feels like the words are in the wrong order but I'm sure you all understand what I am trying to say).
Anyway...good start of the week

US30 19:00 IB trade;
I didn't see an entry for a while and when my entry came price had already traveled some distance.
I did take the trade and closed half at exactly X1R because that was the previous low. I expected price to come back up and it did but I didn't feel to go into drawdown so I closed the trade as it was quite late.

US30 19:00 IB trade;
I was a bit late to the party as I was cooking so I missed two nice entries (blue arrows)
When I had a couple of minutes I cheated and took the (dangerous) trade long on my chart.
Set my TP at 33950 and 25 minutes later I was done.

Super busy day with al kind of small stuff.
Managed to do three trades and held my first all the way.
I was lucky to be in the car at the time of that big retrace otherwise I would have closed it for sure.

The last weeks I was having trouble finding these trades...they were there but I just wasn't able to catch them.

For me it has to do to be able to switch to the right mindset. It's a different mindset to catch these trades as I need to catch a deadhorse trade.
