As I define price action, there are only 4:

1 Outside bar ( price breaks both high and low of previous candle );

2 Inside bar ( price fails to break both high and low of previous candle );

3 Higher High / Higher Low ( price breaks previous candle high and but fails to break low of previous candle );

4 Lower High / Lower Low ( price breaks previous candle low and but fails to break high of previous candle );

That's all there is.

QED.

Yes. I get it.
I mentioned 3 because you didn't mention the bias (candle color) for the first 2 (the OB and IB). That makes the later 2 a "2" ("2" up or "2" down). A "2" is a directional candle. I'm sure you're familiar with Rob's work but just in case the others don't, I put 'em vids here:

But yeah, it is basically the same thing, your 4 and his 3. Doesn't make any difference in how I trade :)

The coast is clear (for Asian session). But I'm late into the game :lol:

Cheers, Strats is new to me, will have a look.

Don't need to sweat over it. Traders have been using it since like forever but they just don't realize it.

Cheers, Strats is new to me, will have a look. Will see if there is a new zone in there I don't know I can add to my WIL :)
The only zones I know are SnD and SnD hidden zones, imbalance zone, Mighty zone, DojiZOne, Rat Zone, Buy zone, Wick Zone. Maybe the sessions can be classed as zones too?!
Heard of the HOLO zone..

No offense but the world is huge and yes, there are stuff out there that you AND I don't know of so we're actually on the same boat :)

Of course. Highest Open Lowest Open, yes? In a way, that is S/D but you can also say it's fresh S/R or part of FTR or M/W or QM or H&S or other stuff depending on what you have on the left.

I'm sure you know about Gap zone but there are also Hatsu zone, Jiro Hatsu zone, LO zone, Upper Quartile zone, Lower Quartile zone, SSR zone, UFO zone and so on and so on..... :) Some of them are variations of old stuff but with added details, others are new. Others can be found freely on the net, rest are circulated in private groups. If you're curious, UFO stands for UnFilled Order. They should've used UNO instead :lol: :lol: :lol: Google it.

UFO forex lolz.png

haha, yes never heard of any of those, I'm sure they will be an interesting read and at some stage will take some time out to expand my trading vocabulary including the highest open lowest open. Trading reminds me of martial arts where you learn the basics and practice them a lot, then you move onto the more advanced techniques, but when you are sparring, 9 times out of 10 you use the basic techniques to get you through. Sometimes there is that advanced move that you noted down as a favorite that might get you that bonus point, but mastery of the basics puts you in good stead. It shouldn't matter what style you do if you have mastered the basics and only then should you consider learning another style otherwise your journey to enlightenment takes twice as long.
Kreslik has been a good place for learning the true fundamentals, and then looking over we can see the black belts practicing those advanced moves that hopefully we will be ready to learn one day :)

Bit of a rocky session earlier today but everything's good.

Finally completed the buttons. Chart below is not AU.

Don't need to sweat over it. Traders have been using it since like forever but they just don't realize it.

I watched a couple of the Strat vids, pretty cool, a lot of combinations of the different sets, there was one where she drew a trend line/cone from the smaller first candle over the next OB, then dropped down to the smaller TF to see the cone expansion and the LTF candles hanging out in that expanding range.
Yesterday was a crud day for myself as well, but today is a brand new day with hopefully lessons learned :)

I was late because I had to take care of my old mom. But as it turned out, it was still ok.

Quick Asian session trade. Done for the day.

No proof required from the cheap seats either :)

if I was there at that time then it would be an inefficient entry compared to Dons sniper entry.

Hey,
I know you and Alias went back and forth about SCALPING brokers/commissions/etc.

Quick sum up of who you think would be the best for low commissions/good executions when pulling in between 10-20k a day without giving 40% back to the brokers in slippage, commissions or % take like with a funded broker account??

Trades will be on ES, NQ, and in FX. Possibly GLD/OIL if an offshore broker.
Yes, you are right. I wasn't listening when it was talked about. The charts were moving. hahahaha
