Ive been looking for that timer indi for a while, and something similar is on my (ever expanding) to-do list.

I see that es/pips indi displays below the price line, while mine displays above it which gives me a small about of "coding excitement".
Relax, Tex, not that much "coding excitement"

Food for thought...

thinking of the timer indi ES uses, you can add a magnified bid and ask price, present and last candle open close, HL, timer and spread at the current bar you are looking at.

I guess it could get cluttered but options to turn off would solve that.

.... oh I just thought, a news indi counting down with red, orange, yellow ...... that would be the dogs b*llocks

Using a method Ive never seen before II brings forth the "first horizontal line trend indicator ever!"*
Image

How it works!
Image
<arrows are indicative only, no arrows drawn. Or lines. Or text. Or pair. Or Timeframe. Logo Drawn>

uses Pieces of Eight font from II_Fontpack

inputs
tf : zero for current chart, otherwise force a timeframe you like as long as its M5 or higher
4 hud location inputs
8 color inputs

* may not be first, but I havent found another one yet

I've said this to you before but I think this is pretty brilliant. Slight chance of getting whipsawed but catches the trend relatively early.
Failure is an opportunity to learn.

as I said while I was developing it that I watched UJ (which I dont usually watch cos its daily range is a bit thin) for 4 or 5 hours during the asain session, and just taking its small arrow direction like a simple MA cross style "stop and reverse" type system would have netted about 30 pips during that time, with individual losses being small and several runs of 10-15 pips (including spread).

Im aware thats not in any way a conclusive backtest or anything, but I liked the results..

but for the meantime its back to the salt mines for me...

Bredin, is the best way to change time shift on your II_CC indicator by moving the two vertical lines ?

Excellent work with the new stuff !
